Lady Lay

A classic, questioned

Lady Lay didn’t begin as a blank canvas, but as a bold question: how far can you go with a 50-year-old Swan hull and a deeply personal vision? Her original shape belonged to a purebred racer: lean, iconic, made for speed. But her new owner came to us with a different challenge, not to preserve history, but to push it forward.

Shaped by real life

The goal wasn’t nostalgia, but reinvention. The new Lady Lay had to perform, but also provide real comfort for family, for seasons and for living. Together, we raised and reshaped the cockpit for long days under sail. Below deck, the “picnic” interior concept brought modularity and lightness. It is designed around how the owner lives now, not thirty years ago.

Details with direction

From the U-line galley to the upholstery and structural frames, every detail was made to serve three things: clarity of use, comfort in movement, and harmony in aesthetics. She’s not just sleek, she works. Built for a former athlete with new needs, the yacht now flows with intention, both inside and out.

Built to be debated

Touching a classic like this comes with questions, even from the owner. But that’s where we do our best work. Where ergonomics, aesthetics, and engineering collide, we don’t just restore; we rethink. Lady Lay isn’t a copy of her past. She’s something unseen. Reborn with respect, and rebuilt for what’s next.

what others say

don’t take our
word for it

We can tell you all day about our approach, our culture, and our craftsmanship. But in the end, what matters most is how it feels to build something together. That’s why we’d rather let our clients speak for us. In this video, Rafael shares what it was like to work with us. The process, the collaboration, the results. No script. Just experience.
